The UK's withdrawal from the EU and the "Erasmus+" programme has profound implications for the international exchange and cooperation relations of German universities. The DAAD presents ten theses on how academic relations with partner institutions in Britain can be shaped in future. DAAD’s position is based on the understanding that the British withdrawal is not only a British-, but also a German problem. The 10 theses highlight, among others, the need for mobility opportunities for German students to the UK, the problem of tuition fees, the UK's new Alan-Turing programme, visa issues and DAAD action to allow for continued exchange and cooperation with British institutions.
