Trainee comings and goings punctuate the year at the ACA Secretariat, and a change in this area occurred at the start of August. After six months in the role, Neo Nkhereanye passed the stagiaire baton to Veronika Kupriyanova. In the wake of her ACA experience, Neo will return to the final stage of her graduate studies at the University of Kassel, where she is completing her master’s degree in Higher Education Research and Development. Neo provided outstanding contributions to the content and delivery of the ACA Newsletter-Education Europe during her tenure, as well as excellent overall support to the Secretariat. We wish her great success as she moves on to new challenges!
The Secretariat extends a warm welcome to Veronika Kupriyanova as the newest member of the ACA team. Originally from Russia, Veronika earned a joint French-Russian master’s degree in International Relations from L’Institut d’études politiques (IEP) de Paris and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University). She is currently a fellow of a German Chancellor Programme for Prospective Leaders from the United States, Russia and China of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Veronika has prior experience working in international and European research and education cooperation programme offices in Berlin, Brussels and Moscow. At ACA, she will play a central role in the production of ACA’s monthly newsletter, and provide assistance on a variety of additional programmes and projects.
