This spring, the ACA office was pleased to welcome a new team member, Caroline Marissal, who has joined as Office & Events Manager. With over 15 years of experience in administration and event management, Caroline brings a dynamic blend of expertise and enthusiasm to ACA.
Originally from Brussels, Caroline spent the last decade at the European University Association (EUA), where she worked first in the Institutional Development Unit, coordinating the Institutional Evaluation Programme, and later in the Communications Unit as Events Officer. In this role, she gained extensive experience in organising online, hybrid, and in-person events, including a wide array of webinars.
Most recently, she worked with the Cancer Drug Development Forum, managing events from concept to completion, including both logistics and programme development.
At ACA, Caroline is already contributing to the planning and delivery of events, managing internal accounts, and ensuring that our office operations run efficiently. We are delighted to have her on board and look forward to the structure and creativity she brings to our day-to-day work.
In parallel, we are happy to share that Courtney Hartzell will be continuing her work with ACA in a full-time capacity as Policy and Project Coordinator starting in July 2025.
We are excited about the new perspectives and experience that both Caroline and Courtney bring to the team, further strengthening ACA’s mission in international cooperation and higher education.
