The first selection phase of the Franco-German Fellowship Programme under the French Initiative "Make our Planet great again" has been concluded for Germany. Researchers from all five continents (about 70 countries) applied for project funding in support of the Paris Agreement objectives. With nearly 15,000 visits of the tender website and more than 700 applications - 217 of which were selected for a scholarship - the call has attracted a great deal of international attention.

On the German side, the programme is run by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in service for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
