In order to facilitate the recognition of degrees awarded for joint programmes, the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA) and the national information centres on recognition (ENIC-NARICs) have established a long-term cooperation. One of the results of this cooperation is the present publication, which aims at providing more evidence on joint degrees recognition practices.

It was written as part of the Joint Programmes Quality Assurance and Recognition (JOQAR) Project, which focuses on external quality assurance, accreditation and recognition of joint degree awarded by Erasmus Mundus programmes. The present report includes recommendations to credential evaluators to guarantee a flexible recognition of joint degrees.
