The EU-Asia Higher Education Platform (EAHEP) is the youngest initiative for supporting higher education cooperation between Europe and Asia. The platform, implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC) and the European University Association (EUA), is financed by the European Commission’s EuropeAid Agency and follows up on a series of completed and ongoing projects that contribute to the development and internationalisation of higher education in both regions, among them the eight European Higher Education Fairs under the Asia-Link Programme.

The project, designed for enhancing information and higher education and research cooperation between the two continents, will materialise in the organisation of thematic events in Europe and Asia, including round tables, European higher education fairs (indeed, a continuation of the EHEFs) and workshops.
