Find out “What’s new in Brussels” on 20 January 2012

End-of-year festivities will be over before we know it and what better way to jump into the new year than by joining ACA for its signature January event: What’s new in Brussels? Recent developments in European policies and programmes. This day-long session in ACA’s highly-regarded ongoing series of European Policy Seminars is designed to help participants get quickly up-to-speed on all the latest information with regard to key European higher education activities and initiatives.

This year, representatives from DG Education and Culture will provide details on the newly unveiled “Erasmus for all” programme, as well as a progress report on the “Education and Training 2020” strategy. DG Research will also be on hand to share news about the “Horizon 2020” objectives. In addition, there will be an overview of a recent feasibility study examining a pan-European student loan scheme, and insights from the European Students’ Union on the next generation of EU policies and programmes. An expert opinion on where the Bologna Process might be headed – or should be headed – will also be presented.

ACA’s What’s new in Brussels? seminar fills to capacity each year, so early registration for this event is strongly encouraged.
