The European Commission’s Eurydice network released a new publication which targets the recommended compulsory curriculum by grades and/or educational stages for full time compulsory education. The study compares by country the time spent by a student in classes traditionally included into curricula (mathematics, natural sciences, first foreign language, etc.), but also includes data such as optional lessons, homework periods or tutoring activities. The publication gives a good overview of the time that a regular European student devotes to school.
