The European Training Foundation (ETF) had published its 2005 Yearbook of the title Teachers and trainers – professionals and stakeholders in the reform of vocational education and training. This publication gathers input from a wide range of authors, and is based on experience of ETF activities and pilot projects in 30 partner countries.

The Yearbook underlines the role of teachers in the reform of education and in the social lives of young people, and expresses the need for their skills to be upgraded significantly if vocational education and training in countries in the EU neighbourhood is to be successfully reformed.
