Erasmus Student Network is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit student organisation working in the interest of exchange students.  In cooperation with Petrus Communication, ESN is conducting a survey to better understand the problems faced by exchange students at a foreign higher education institution and uncover solutions these problems.

The survey was launched 3^rd of June 2005 and has collected over 5.000 current or former exchange students questionnaires to date. The participants are students at higher education institutions in European countries, but also from other parts of the world, such as Morocco, Singapore, Argentina and Canada.

In preparation for the September EAIE conference in Krakow, the group hopes to share findings from as many as 10.000 students who by that time are expected to have completed the questionnaire. The data will then be compiled and published in an easy to read booklet.
