Erasmus and its impact on excellence in Higher Education in Europe

The European Commission is opening a call for a survey to be carried out on the “Erasmus Programme and its impact on excellence in higher education in Europe”.

From 1987 onwards, the Erasmus Programme has enabled over 1.7 million students to be mobile within Europe and to study for a duration of three months to one year at a university in another European country.

The overall objectives of the study are to assess the various ways and means whereby Erasmus may have contributed to higher education excellence in Europe, and to formulate recommendations on how this contribution could be further maximised in the future.

Deadline for application: 12 October 2007

Budget:  200 000 Euro
