The European Commission decided that the new SALTO Digital Resource Centre will be established at the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI), a member of ACA. SALTO Digital is the first resource centre to operate not only in all educational sectors but also combined with the field of youth. Its priorities include digital competences, pedagogy and equipment, as well as virtual cooperation and exchanges, the influence of new technologies on education, work and society at large, AI and the STEM subjects.

The Resource Centre will support digitalisation in education, training and youth in the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes. It will also promote related EU strategies, such as the Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027. In this context, it will cooperate with the National Agencies (NAs) of all Erasmus+ programme countries and the European Commission.

The Commission has recently announced two other new resource centres. The SALTO Resourse Centre in Croatia on inclusion and participation in the field of education and training was established at another member of ACA, the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMEUP), and the SALTO Resource Centre for sustainable development and the green transition will be in France.
