Pages: 260 Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) has published the Education under Attack 2014 report on threats or deliberate use of force against students, teachers, academics, education trade union members and government officials, aid workers and other education staff, and on schools, universities and other educational institutions, carried out for political, military, ideological, sectarian, ethnic or religious reasons in 2009-2013.

The study profiles 30 countries and provides an insight into the context of attacks and detailed records of reported attacks; main points and recommendations supplemented by three thematic essays with more in-depth proposals as to how to best protect schools and universities; a methodology section to outline the research methods and main challenges faced; references to every piece of information used in the study.
