Early-bird registration for ACA’s seminar on the ‘BRICs’ ends 4 March!

Making sense of developments in Brazil, Russia, India, and China is breathtakingly complex. For any one of these countries, there is an enormous amount of news and information to digest. Getting the facts is one thing, while making sense of them is yet another, as not every institution or organisation has easy access to such expertise. ACA is offering a unique opportunity to gain real insight into developments in the so-called BRIC countries through its upcoming European Policy Seminar event, Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Key points on the European higher education compass? Representatives from (amongst others) the government of China, the Higher School of Economics in Russia, the DAAD office in Brazil, and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education and Culture, will all shed light on what’s happening in these emerging economic powerhouses and what this can mean for European higher education.

Time is running out to benefit from early-bird registration rates, which expire on 4 March 2011. We hope you’ll join us in Brussels on 18 March for this important event.

And while you’re at it, do consider putting Vienna and the ACA Annual Conference on your agenda for 22-24 May 2011. The excellence imperative. World-class aspirations and real-world needs will bring together an exceptionally high-profile roster of experts to engage in a refreshingly nuanced and thought-provoking discussion of “excellence” in higher education. Please browse our website for further information on these important events on the European higher education calendar for spring 2011.
