Dana Petrova new Director of DZS

As of December 2016, ACA’s Czech member  Dum zahranicní spolupráce (DZS) or The Centre for International Cooperation in Education (previously known as the Centre for International Services), has a new Director - Ms Dana Petrova, who returns to the centre in this new role after other interesting professional experiences.

Dana Petrova graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, majoring in International Politics and Diplomacy. From 2000 to 2007 she worked at the Centre for International Services as Erasmus Coordinator, focusing mainly on the administration of EU educational projects. In 2007 she became head of the Erasmus Unit at the same institution, which also incorporated from 2007 the Czech National Agency for European Educational Programmes (NAEP).. In this role she was responsible for the overall implementation of the LLP/Erasmus programme in the Czech Republic. From 2011 to 2013 she held the position of Director of the Office for International Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. In 2013–2014, Dana was member of the EAIE Conference Programme Committee. Before joining DZS, Dana was senior project manager at CHE Consult GmbH, Prague/Berlin. She has extensive experience with international strategy development and implementation, International Relations Office (IRO) leadership and quality assessment of international projects.
