DAAD: Top 10 International Master’s Degree Courses selected at German universities

The Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Donor’s Association for the Promotion of Science and Humanities in Germany) and the DAAD have awarded a quality label worth € 20,000 to the top 10 international Master’s courses in Germany. The ten award winners cover a wide range of academic fields, such as the SPRING (Spatial Planning for Regions in Growing Economies)-Programme at the University of Dortmund, the Master Course in Molecular Biology/Neurosciences at the University of Göttingen or the unique Master in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Further top 10 courses are offered at the Universities of Bonn, Freiburg, FU Berlin (2), Jena, Mannheim and Pforzheim.

Since 1997, when the DAAD initiated international Bachelor's and Master's courses at German higher education institutions, the number of international degree programmes has been constantly increasing and is now by far exceeding 400. The international courses are highly demanded by students from all over the globe, and they go hand in hand with the implementation of the Bologna Process at German higher education institutions.
