The German Society for Academic Study Preparation and Test Development (g.a.s.t.) published a new edition of Compact Data, featuring information on language and proficiency tests, which were taken by prospective international students and university applicants at g.a.s.t. test centres until end of 2018.
The publication presents information on participation in online language courses in preparation for academic studies (Deutsch Uni Online, DUO). Moreover, Compact Data comprises a statistical overview of various tests for German as a foreign language (TestDaF and onSET) as well as the test for academic studies (TestAS), which test prospective foreign studies students for their ability to study in Germany. Both the language test “onset” as well as the proficiency test “TestAS” also provide an adopted version for refugees.
