As an old German saying has it, Berlin is always worth a trip. This vibrant capital city is most seductive in spring, and from 13-15 May, will warmly host  ACA's Annual Conference,  a dynamic forum to explore the “many faces of internationalisation”. ACA organizes this high-quality event together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Fulbright Commission in Berlin. The list of renowned speakers is growing longer and longer. EU Education Commissioner Jan Figel has now definitively accepted ACA’s invitation to be the opening keynote speaker. “The many faces of internationalisation” will analyse the by now many different meanings and concepts of internationalization in higher education, and the major trends of this phenomenon around the world. Sub- themes include the latest from the European higher education reform processes (Bologna and Lisbon); the intercultural dialogue; internationalisation and the labour market; higher education as a commodity, and internationalisation strategies for universities and colleges.
