The vast majority of CMEPIUS activities during the last couple of months were focused on promotion of Erasmus+ 2020 Call with different seminars, workshops and webinars.

In February, Slovenian universities (Ljubljana, Maribor, Primorska and Nova Gorica) together with CMEPIUS and in cooperation with the Slovenian embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia, organised a promotional event as part of the initiative Study in Slovenia. At the event different study possibilities in Slovenia were presented. Due to a very intensive and successful promotion through direct contact with North Macedonian high schools, announcements on local radio stations and different Slovenian clubs over 400 students attended. Through Erasmus+ programme we had over 160 incoming students from North Macedonia from 2014 on. In 2019 there were 933 North Macedonian full-time students studying in Slovenia, which are known to be highly motivated and successful. After graduation they usually stay, find employment and are successfully integrated in Slovenia, which is important reasoning when deciding which students to attract to come and study in Slovenia.
