The European Commission recently launched a call for tenders for a framework contract for evaluation, support for impact assessment, and evaluation related services referring to DG EAC’s policies, programmes and other activities. The precise type, timing and volume of the services to be secured under the contracts to be signed on the basis of thistender cannot be specified in detail in advance, hence the nature of a framework contract of the present call (2 years duration).

The framework contract shall contibute towards:

• Providing timely and relevant information of high quality into the decision making process;
• The development and quality assurance of the DG EAC’s programmes and policies;
• The implementation of the DG EAC’s multi-annual evaluation programme (which also covers impact assessments and other studies).
