To analyse progress made in reform in higher education, the Commission envisages assessments to be carried out in following areas: 1) curricula, 2) governance and 3) funding. The independent assessment under Lot 1 should contribute to the evaluation of the overall progress of the Bologna Process. The assessments under Lot 2 and Lot 3 should contribute to the evaluation of the overall progress in the areas of governance and funding reforms.
