The European Parliament has published an open call for tender to carry out a study on Erasmus mobility, to support the debate on the future of European education programmes. The overall objective of the study is to shed further light on existing financial/social barriers to participating in the Erasmus programme, as well as considering how the programme can be improved in qualitative and quantitative terms. It should provide a practical contribution to the work of the EP's Committee on Culture and Education in upcoming debates on the new education and training programmes. It should also serve as a basis for future policy proposals in the area of mobility in higher education specifically, whilst taking into account that both the EU budget and national budgets will face severe constraints in the next decade.
Budget: maximum EUR 100 000
Deadline: 16 October 2009
