The European University Association (EUA) invites all higher education institutions (EUA members and non-members) to participate in its 2017 TRENDS survey. The survey aims to gather responses to provide a comprehensive overview of the most important developments in learning and teaching in European higher education. The survey is open until 12 May.
EUA started its TRENDS reports’ series in 1999, with the aim of “feeding an institutional perspective into European higher education policy discussions, and improving exchange and networking among European universities and support for them”. The TRENDS 2018 Report, the 8th in the series of EUA’s flagship TRENDS studies, will be submitted to the European higher education ministers at the next Bologna Ministerial Conference, which will be held in Paris on 24 and 25 May 2018. The first results will be presented at the EUA European Learning & Teaching Forum, also in Paris, on 28 and 29 September 2017.
The main method used to gather data is an online questionnaire sent to European higher education institutions, which is nevertheless supplemented by other data gathering ‘tools’, including focus groups, visits to universities, interviews, and questionnaires to other stakeholders. Participating higher education institutions are kindly requested to send only one response per institution, filled in at leadership level.
