The European Commission is calling for proposals (EAC/27/2009) for support to the organisation of a European Skills Competition in 2010. The European Commission supports this initiative in the framework of the Copenhagen process on enhanced European cooperation in vocational education and training, as a tool to increase the attractiveness of VET in Europe and to promote excellence and innovation in the field of vocational skills.
