The 7th Framework Programme's (FP7) small and medium sized collaborative projects call for socio-economic sciences and humanities was opened on 30 July 2009. The call regards research projects in topics such as:

• Demand-driven research and innovation policies for growth, welfare and wellbeing
• Local welfare systems favouring social cohesion
• EU regions and their interactions with the neighbourhood regions
• European Identities: Inner and outer perceptions of Europe and the EU

Total budget: EUR 18.9 million

Maximum budget/project: EUR 2.7 million
