This call refers to the Erasmus Mundus action programme for the period of 2009-2013. The objective of this programme is to foster European higher education, to help improve the career prospects of students and to promote cooperation with third-countries in the field of higher education. Two actions are included in the current call:

• Action 2 – Erasmus Mundus partnerships: focus on structured cooperation between European and third-country higher education institutions, by promoting mobility of undergraduate and master’s degree students, doctoral candidates, researchers, academic and administrative staff;
• Action 3 – Promotion of European higher education: focus on enhancing the attractiveness, profile, image, visibility and accessibility of European higher education, by providing support to transnational initiatives, studies, projects, or other activities that emphasize the international dimension of higher education.
