In July, the European Commission launched a call for proposals for a study on the outcomes and impact of cooperation between higher education institutions and the business sector. The study should explore university-business collaborations with a specific focus on new areas beyond research and development and analyse the different aspects and motivation of both partners. The results should contribute to an improved understanding of the enabling factors influencing cooperation between higher education and business.
