The new application round for the
Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme is now open for studies in Hungary, starting in the academic year 2018-2019. Applications are possible for
all study levels – from bachelor to doctoral studies. Students can apply both for
full degree studies and – depending on the applicant’s country of origin – for
study exchanges as well (up to one academic year).
29 Hungarian higher education institutions are currently engaged in the programme, with more than
460 study programmes offered in foreign languages (414 of which in English).
An international conference for the Stipendium Hungaricum Operational Partners was held in Budapest between 22 and 25 November 2017, to further enhance the effective communication and cooperation. More than 25 participating sending partners/countries were represented during the event, which provided a great opportunity for participants to share good-practices and discuss the new call for applications. In the academic year 2018/2019
more than 5000 students can begin their studies in Hungary in the framework of the programme. Application is possible through
this online platform until 16 February 2018.
