“Entrepreneurs in Africa” is a recently-launched development project which aims to encourage the insertion of African alumni in their home countries through the creation of businesses by young African entrepreneurs and students at French engineering schools. The three-year programme supports the setting up of small and medium-sized, technologically oriented businesses in French-speaking Africa, providing selected projects with professional guidance and helping them to secure financial backing. The EUR 5 million programme, coordinated by CampusFrance and the n+i engineering network, brings together local organisations, financial bodies and French structures and is financially supported by the French Ministry of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-development.
