Brush up on new EU programmes and policies with ACA in 2021

As the EU co-legislators made tremendous progress on the EU Multiannual Financial Framework (2021-2027) and reached a political agreement on Erasmus+ (see ACA Newsletter, December 2020), higher education stakeholders can finally start preparing for the implementation of and participation in the new programme. To facilitate this task, ACA’s flagship event What’s new in Brussels: Recent developments in European policies and programmes” will bring together EU policy makers and experts in the field to discuss some burning questions:

  • What should institutions expect from the new generation of EU funding programmes? How could they align their strategies to the new realities and policy objectives
  • How will the new European programmes for higher education and research support institutional transformational processes amplified by the pandemic
  • What kind of support will be offered to bolster internationalisation, digitalisation, sustainability and inclusion plans?

Join us on 28 and 29 January 2021 to prepare for the start of Erasmus+. Registrations are open till 18 January 2021.

One of the key priorities of the European Education Area and Erasmus+, innovation will be tackled at another event called Innovation through internationalisation: how international cooperation and mobility foster innovationorganised by ACA, Movetia and swissuniversities on 22 April 2021. Registrations are to open in February 2021.

The event will explore multiple ways in which internationalisation - through mobility, but also other international activity forms - can boost institutional innovation. It will also address the role of international partnerships and collaborative projects in advancing institutional innovation agenda.
