Bridging the Digital Divide: Segmenting and Recruiting International Millennial Students

World Education Services, Bridging the Digital Divide: Segmenting and Recruiting International Millennial Students, Research Report World Education Services, 2014.

This report highlights differences in the information-seeking behaviour of students by level of education — bachelor’s and master’s degree. It analyses nearly five thousands 17-to-36-year-old international Millennials’ use of technology and the psychographic characteristics that influence their information-seeking behaviour. The differences between two major source countries, China and India, are also discussed at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The main objectives of the report are to understand how different Millennial student segments use technology, search for information, and what information each seek in order to develop according international enrolment strategies, as well as effective and targeted recruitment strategies.
