The Institute of International Education (IIE) and the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) Foundation will release a new book, Asia: The Next Higher Education Superpower?, in January 2015. Ninth in the Global Education Research Reports series, this volume will critically examine the local and global trends driving higher education policy in Asia and its impact on the local and regional knowledge economies. It will highlight ways that governments, universities, and multilateral organizations are applying innovations in higher education to meet the diverse challenges across Asia and describe how these innovations are changing the higher education landscape regionally and globally.
