The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications for higher education studies starting in the academic year 2022-23. The programme aims to support those who wish to rediscover and reconnect to their Hungarian heritage and want to improve their Hungarian language skills and cultural knowledge as well.

Degree seekers with Hungarian heritage can choose from 1,300 Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral programmes or postgraduate special training courses (offered in English or Hungarian) at 28 Hungarian higher education institutions. Application for partial studies are also possible. The scholarship covers tuition fee, medical insurance and upon request contribution to the accommodation cost and a monthly stipend.

The application is open to students from all countries of the world, except the Member States of the European Union, the Republic of Serbia and the Zakarpatska region of Ukraine. Consult the call for applications for further criteria and exceptions!
