On May 16th, ACA held its third European Policy seminar this year. Providing fresh insights into the expanding field of cross-border education, Exporting education: Europe’s role in transnational education was deemed a success by participants and speakers alike. This seminar was inspired by the main findings of an ACA study on transnational education by ACA Senior Officer Maria Kelo. Drawing widely on experiences of European higher education institutions engaged in exporting their education outside of Europe, an impressive range of experts tackled pertinent topics such us strategy, recognition, benefits, national level support and the global context of transnational education.

ACA would like thank both speakers and participants for a stimulating event. The ACA study on transnational education which formed the basis of the seminar, is likely to be published later this year.
