The ACA Secretariat was reinforced with one new colleague joining the team on 11 April 2022.

Salome Dermati is ACA’s new Junior Communications Officer, taking over for Carlo Prato, whom we deeply thank for his valuable contribution to the team.  Their main responsibilities include the editing, review, and publication of ACA's monthly newsletter "Education Europe," providing support for the management of ACA's social media channels and supporting the organisation and management of events.

Salome has a background in political science and is currently pursuing a Masters of European Studies at KU Leuven, majoring in Sustainability and minoring in Governance. They are passionate about debating, travelling, activism, volunteer work and poetry. They speak Greek (mother tongue), English, Spanish, and French.

The Secretariat is looking forward to serving the ACA membership and the broader field of international higher education with this excellent, reinforced team. Further details can be read about the new team members’ experience on the ACA website.
