ACA, together with its members the Slovak Academic Information Agency (SAIA) and the Slovak Academic Association for International Co-operation (SAAIC), are organising an on invitation only event on European and national programmes in higher education to be held in Bratislava on 28^th October 2006.

The seminar will compare and analyse:

• European and national programmes with a view to, amongst others, their policy objectives;
• the different activities they support and the structural principles on which they are based;
• their quantitative performance (in terms of funds made available and mobility and project numbers);
• their delivery modes.

The seminar is for directors and senior staff from organisations and agencies dealing with the internationalisation of European higher education. Participation is limited to 60 people only in order to provide the conditions for high level event.
