A new President for EURASHE

As of 1 June, EURASHE has a new President: Stéphane Lauwick, who has been appointed for a two-year mandate. His predecessor, Andreas G. Orphanides, steps down after four years of presidency. In the meantime, Michal Karpíšek has been reelected as EURASHE’s Vice-President.
Stéphane Lauwick is the Director of the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) of Le Havre and a long-time Board member both of EURASHE and ADIUT (the French Association of Directors of University Institutes of Technology). An English professor, Stéphane is the former Director of the Continuing Education Centre and Apprentice Training Centre of the University of Le Havre, where he promoted lifelong learning and the recognition of prior learning at multiple levels. He continues to represent EURASHE as a member of the working group on the Social Dimension of the Bologna Follow-Up Group.
ACA congratulates Mr. Lauwick on his new position, and wishes him all the best in his future work!
