For the sixth time, European and international funding organisations working in higher education collaboration in developing countries – among them many ACA member organisations – have met in an annual forum to share good practices and experience and create collaborative networks. This year’s forum took place in Brussels to put a specific emphasis on the exchange with higher education and development initiatives undertaken by the European Commission. The role of higher education for social and economic development, its place in the post-2015 development framework, higher education support in crisis-affected countries, regional harmonization processes and the international dimension of the Erasmus+ programme, were among the topics being discussed.
