A) North-South Dialogue Scholarship Programme: The ÖAD has won the public tender for the performance of the North-South Dialogue Scholarship Programme. So far bilateral scholarship programmes financed by the Austrian government have been administered by the ÖAD after negotiating about the contents and price with the ministry. Now these programmes are publicly tendered and the ÖAD has to succeed among other competitors. This year the Austrian development cooperation has called for tenders for the administration of the North-South Dialogue Scholarship Programme, a programme aimed at supporting the personal and institutional capacity development of HEIs in southern countries. In July, the negotiations have been finalised and the ÖAD has been contracted by the Austrian Development Agency for the performance of this programme for the next two years.
B) Quality Management System and ISO-Certification
The ÖAD has begun a project of introducing a quality management system within the organisation, which finally shall lead to the ISO-certification of the ÖAD.
