2012 events at ACA take shape

As 2011 draws to a close, ACA is looking enthusiastically towards an exciting line-up of activities in the new year.

Our European Policy Seminars (EPS) kick into high gear on 20 January with our signature series opener: What's new in Brussels? Recent developments in European policies and programmes. Two months later, on 23 March, our second EPS event will take place (again in Brussels), with a focus on Internationalisation audits. Assessing and improving institutional strategies.

In addition, ACA will be hosting the final symposium for the European Commission-funded project known as Indicators for Mapping and Profiling Internationalisation (IMPI). This day-long event – The IMPI initiative and beyond. Mapping and profiling internationalisation – will take place in Brussels on 10 May.

Finally, the ACA Annual Conference will convene this year in Helsinki, on 10-12 June. The event will be co-organised with ACA’s Finnish member, the Finnish Centre for International Mobility (CIMO). The conference will focus on the timely analysis of a compelling combination of interconnected themes, under the title Tying it all together. Excellence, mobility, funding and the social dimension in higher education.

ACA’s event calendar for the second half of the year will be published in early 2012. In the meantime, we encourage interested participants to watch our website for evolving information on our programme of activities. It’s going to be an excellent year for ACA events!
