20 years of Erasmus Mundus – have your say!

In light of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Mundus programme, NTT DATA (coordinator), the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Tipik are conducting an EU-funded impact study on Erasmus Mundus. Erasmus Mundus is the EU’s flagship programme funding top-quality Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, which stand out through their academic excellence and high level of integration, jointly delivered by multiple higher education institutions and run across various countries for students from all over the world.

This study will showcase the impact of Erasmus Mundus on learning and teaching, international cooperation and administrative practices, thus raising awareness of the programme’s benefits for the participating institutions at various levels. Furthermore, it will share the lessons learnt by the participating institutions, faculties and departments thus far to pave the way for the future programme.

As part of this study, the long-term institutional impact of Erasmus Mundus is explored through a survey targeting central and faculty level leadership and staff with a good overview of their institution/faculty’s participation in the programme through strategic steering, design, delivery, support or coordination of the Erasmus Mundus study programmes in various positions. The deadline to complete the survey is extended to 31 July 2023.

In parallel, a second survey with the same deadline is implemented to focus on the programme-level impact, targeting Erasmus Mundus programme (academic and administrative) coordinators and partners’ staff.

The survey evidence will be used to design a series of workshops and other peer learning activities this autumn. It will also be used to design institutional case studies for the 2020 years of Erasmus Mundus anniversary report that will be published in mid-2024.

Please contact Veronika Kupriyanova, Senior Policy Coordinator (veronika.kupriyanova@aca-secretariat.be) in case of interest in the peer learning activities or if you have any questions about the survey or the study.
