The Centre for Higher Education Development International (CIHE) published some time ago, the original German version of the 186 performance indicators and figures proposed to measure internationalisation. This working paper has recently been translated into English presenting these indicators as part of the core thinking of modern higher education institutions (HEIs), where international research cooperation is gaining more and more weight and useful indicators are need in order to avoid the generation of “dead” data.
