Making it easier for degree-holding refugees to start a career in Germany while tackling a shortage of skilled workers – this is the aim of the training project "PROFI in MINT" funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and currently being launched at the University of Bayreuth. The Campus Academy for Advanced Training, the International Office, and the Office of Career Services & Corporate Relations are offering the certificate course "Technology and Management" as a pilot programme starting this winter term. Applications are welcome from refugees with an academic degree in engineering, the natural sciences, or a comparable degree in a STEM field and German proficiency at level B2. The course is free of charge for successful applicants.
