French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFI)

OFI is French State’s operator in charge of immigration procedures (family, student and professional), the reception of asylum seekers, the integration of new arrivals and the voluntary return and reintegration of foreign nationals with 31 regional offices both in cities and in the country’s overseas dependencies and 7 representative offices abroad.

 

OPFRA

OPFRA is a public administrative establishment in charge of the asylum and statelessness requests submitted. It operates under the financial and administrative supervision of the Ministry of the Interior.

 

PADA

La Plateforme d’Accueil des Demandeurs d’Asile (PADA) is the platform for obtaining an appointment with the prefecture and l’OFII (Guichet Unique: GUDA) in order to file an asylum request to the ’Isère department. It provides reception, information, advice, guidance for asylum seekers.

PADA provides social and administrative support through counseling (providing information about the asylum procedure, opening a bank account, social security rights, education, etc.), orientation (towards organisations that help and manage daily life such as Post Bank, medicine, charities, etc.), access to social rights and domiciliation of asylum seekers.

 

CADA

CADA (La Commission d’accès aux documents administratifs) is an independent administrative authority responsible for ensuring freedom of access to administrative documents and public archives and the re-use of public information. It can be used by private persons and legal entities who have been faced with an unfavourable decision regarding access to administrative documents or re-use of public information. The commission may also be referred to, by way of advice, by the administrations requested in these matters.
