EURAXESS and other EU initiatives

  • EURAXESS Sweden provides information and assistance to mobile researchers, from information about the research system in Sweden to practical information about administrative procedures and employment opportunities.
  • Science4Refugees (EURAXESS) is an initiative set up to provide research 'refugee-friendly' internships, part-time and full-time jobs, access to the European research community, as well as information and support services on working and living in Europe. 
  • EU Immigration Portal contains practical information about coming to work or study in the EU for more than 90 days and on how to join your family in the EU. If you already are in the EU and you would like to know more about your rights or you would like to move from one EU country to another, you can also find relevant information on this Portal. 
  • GREET project (2018-2019) was a Horizon 2020 science4refugees project which aimed to contribute to the integration of highly skilled refugees in European higher education through mutual learning and exchange of good practices among national support structures and higher education institutions (HEIs) in 9 European countries (Austria, Belgium/Flanders Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Norway, Sweden and the UK). The peer learning and networking activities in the project produced a number of results, which can be accessed here
  • Inspireurope is another Horizon 2020-funded project aiming at supporting, promoting and integrating researchers at risk. The project offers webinars on different topics of relevance for researchers from the target group.
