ACA associate member the Institute of International Education (IIE) has recently launched the International Partnership Landscape Survey, a global initiative led by the IIE Center for International Partnerships and designed to assess the state of international partnerships in higher education. The survey will examing key factors, such as motivations, locations, activities, challenges, management processes, and collaborative practices that shape partnerships in higher education institutions (HEIs), aiming to provide valuable insights for:
Recognising regional differences in partnership priorities and practices, the survey will be conducted in stages over five years. The first phase, which has been launched this January, will focus on HEIs in Europe, Canada, and the U.S.. Subsequent phases will expand to Africa, the MENA region, Central and South America, and Asia, with input from regional experts to ensure relevance.
The survey consists of 20 questions and is designed to be completed by the international partnerships office or equivalent unit within HEIs.
