2024 Erasmus+ call for proposals: selected Erasmus Mundus projects announced

This year’s Erasmus+ call for proposals, open to institutions and organisations annually, resulted in the selection of 34 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM). The selected consortia are composed of organisations from 38 different countries, with an additional 40 countries represented through associated partners. Once launched, these programmes will be accessible to students worldwide, offering the chance to apply for full EU scholarships. Examples of some of the new master programmes include the following:

  • automotive computing for mobility innovation;
  • smart city management, governance, innovation and sustainability;
  • cross-border criminology;
  • democratic governance and international security, and;
  • AI technologies for sustainable public service co-creation

EMJM and Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) represent two independent lots under the Erasmus Mundus action. The EMDM, introduced in 2021, supports the future design of high-level, integrated master’s study programmes. Five of the newly selected EMJM programmes this year originated from EMDM grants of previous calls, and 50 EMDMs were selected based on the 2024 call, with coordinators from 20 different countries.
