The European Commission (EC) has appointed the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMEUP) as SALTO resource centre. As such, it will assist in promoting inclusion and diversity to agencies across 33 Erasmus+ programme countries in the field of education and training, as well as to other stakeholders at the European level by the end of 2027. SALTO centres provide expert support and a source of information, methods and examples of non-formal learning to organisations and individuals who are active in education, training and youth on topics related to European priorities.
AMEUP has long been dedicated to deepening of knowledge and capacity building in the field of inclusion and transfer of acquired knowledge to its beneficiaries. Its application to the network was the result of serious intentions and an excellent quality application. “With this recognition, the European Commission confirmed that it recognises the capacity and expertise of the Croatian National Agency for Erasmus+ programme and expressed confidence that the intended objectives will be achieved. We thank the team that made the application, as well as all AMEUP employees for their continuous dedicated work and support they have provided in preparing the application," said Antonija Gladović, M.Sc., director of the AMEUP.
Thanks to this opportunity, AMEUP will continue working diligently to create equal opportunities for everyone, starting from the assumption that every person has the right to quality and inclusive education, training and lifelong learning in order to maintain and acquire important skills through which they can fully participate in society and the labour market.
