Salome is pursuing a Masters of European Studies at KU Leuven, majoring in Sustainability and minoring in European Governance. She graduated with honours from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She spent a semester studying in Complutense University of Madrid in 2019, and has participated in three short term exchange programmes in Paris, France, Trakai, Lithuania, and Washington D.C., USA.
She completed a three month internship at Europe Direct ELIAMEP in Athens, Greece and is currently assisting in a project of the Leuven International and European Studies institute as a translator of Greek carbon pricing policies. Throughout her academic career, she has joined numerous student organisations, such as the Student Association For International Affairs (SAFIA) and the Green Office of KU Leuven. Salome is also passionate about debating, having experience in multiple simulations of international organisations, activism, and volunteer work.
Salome speaks Greek (mother tongue), English, Spanish, and French. She is a devoted Europhile who enjoys reading and publishes original poems in an independent blog in her spare time.
