This paper discusses the European commission adopted initiatives; the European Education Area Communication and the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027). This aims at; building a comprehensive policy framework for cooperating with the Member States to modernize education systems, providing inclusive and quality education from early childhood education and care to informal adult learning, and promoting new investments in education all over Europe. 

It delves into points covered during the summit, which provided opportunities for stakeholders, representatives of education and training, and MEPs to discuss: 

• Feedback on the Commission’s vision to create a European Education Area by 2025 and to implement the Digital Education Action Plan. 
• The digital transformation of Europe’s education systems in the context of the Covid-19 recovery. 
• Exchange experiences and best practices in mitigating the effects of Covid-19 on education and training provision.
